But here are some other pictures to keep you entertained until then...:) Sorry, they're out of order, but I just don't have the patience to switch them all around right now. These first ones are of the fishing trip that Jake took with the 1st counselor in our singles bishopric. Jakes loving his service in there because it affords him connections like these. Brother Boren has all the toys and always invites Jake to do fun things with him. This fishing trip took them up to Copper Basin close to Sun Valley. It was an all-day adventure: driving around 3 hours, 4-wheeling ten miles up to Big Lake, fishing out of pontoon boats, and the coming back home. He had a great time. Now they're planning a 4-wheeling trip to take place in the next few weeks before school starts.

Its soo funny because all these adventures Jake goes on are with 50+ year old men. He really enjoys it though!

It was really beautiful up there--you can tell from the pictures! Jake has a habit of taking almost too many scenery pictures, but I'm happy that he appreciates nature and all the beauty that surrounds us.

Brother Boren leading the way! He is such a fun guy--we have loved serving in the bishopric because the leaders are great and the single kids keep Jake busy with activities all the time. Over the break they have been having some crazy FHEs, including rock climbing this week, canoeing next week, and who knows what else they have in store for the following ones. It is hard having the only babies that make noise in church and not knowing too many people from our married ward, but the rewards are worth it!

Hannah's new clips that Sister Boren gave to us. I guess her daughter makes them--how cute are they though?! She is soo thoughtful, and she even said we could get some in whatever colors we wanted! They are perfect for Hannah's little piggies! :)

I love my baby, but I don't love my really washed over, tired, put me to bed look! Oh well, how cute is Hannah??

She loves these baskets! Her she is playing in Sariah's toy basket in Pocatello!

We went to the Downy fair to spend time with the family while my dad was ultrasounding. Heres the proud grandma holding her two grandbabies! Pretty soon she won't be able to hold them all in her arms anymore! How fun to have a boy in the mix though!

This is Jake super sad that he didn't get to participate in the local Hog Wash. The lady said he should sign up, then mentioned that you had to be under 18. Don't you think Jake looks alittle older than that?? He would have loved to fake it though! :) He really wanted the free shirt that said "I survived the Downy Fair Hog Wash"

Heres the group in one of the animal barns. I love it when I get to take the pictures!!

Here's Hannah looking at the sheep. I love these fair pictures!!

Sariah riding the stuffed horse. What a cutie!!

Proud Aunt Katie with Hannah. She is always soo helpful and Hannah loves her! And PS--HAPPY B-DAY Katie!! She turned 22 on August 18th and had a party at the lake and brought all her friends home to Paris for a big Carbonara feed that my parents put on. Sounds like everyone had a great time! We love you Katie and are soo proud of all you've accomplished and the person you've become!!

This is an example of Hannah "loving the baby". When she goes to bed at night, we tell her to love the baby and she cuddles up to her teddy bear, hugs it and turns on her side and goes to sleep. Pretty good for being fussy and addicted to the bottle every night. We're soo proud of her and think its SOOO cute!!

Wow horsey! Slow down!! (Reminds me of Candice and her runaway with Rascal--I think you looked just like that Candice! :)

The famous kiss face! What a cutie! She can even actually kiss with it now instead of just pulling the face for the camera! :)

Twin kiss faces. (Fish face fits better in my opinion, but she knows it as kiss, so we'll run with that.:)

Hannah going on her first ride in her bike seat! And we just found her the cutest little helmet for $1 at a yard sale--excellent! And we just bought a bike trailer, so once I get a bike and am not pregnant anymore we're going to make good use of it--hopefully!

How cute, my two little bike riders! Jake is loving his new Trek bike--thanks Tiffany and Dan! He goes on bike rides all the time now that he's not in school. It helps him feel like he gets his adventure everyday if he doesn't have something else planned. I can't wait to join him!

Some CUTE pjs that we found in Hannah's clothes bin. They have monkeys all over them and are just too adorable!

Hannah in the laundry basket. She loves helping with the laundry. Well, actually I think she just likes the basket. She's more of a hinderance when it comes to folding and putting away...:)

Hannah in her toy basket.

And finally, Hannah sleeping. I don't know how she does it! Who can sleep like this? Well, she does and she does it EVERY time she sleeps. How cute!
Well, Hannah has been such a good baby and we are so proud of her for catching on to all the tricks she has lately! Isn't it funny how babies just-one day-catch on to a trick and run with it? All the sudden she just doesn't need her bottle, she learned how to "love the baby" and falls to sleep just cuddling her teddy bear, she tries to feed herself all the time, and even knows how to put her toys "back in the basket!" I love it! Now if we could only trick her into walking... I guess my dreams of having her on her feet by the time the baby came were a little too far-fetched. Thankfully she knows what to do--we're just waiting for the day she decides to take off with it. Until then, she'll just grab our fingers and make us walk her around, because that's way more fun than doing it herself...:)
As for our med school application status, we have received secondary applications from almost all of our schools. We have picked the 10 cheapest schools, we're finishing their secondaries, and waiting to see what happens with them before we lay down more money for the other schools. We have actually been doing a lot of thinking recently though and have decided that Pacific NW University in Yakima, WA is probably our #1 choice! I don't know exactly why it took us so long to come to this decision, because its perfect for us!! Of course, its a newer school, but Jake fits all the criteria and they REALLY prefer students from the 5 Pacific NW states. It is also only 5 hours from Boise and 10 hours from Bear Lake, which is the closest of any med school out there! AND---you only do two years of school there and then the rest is done around those 5 states, all close to home (execpt Alaska of course, but that will be more a vacation if we go there for awhile)! And we would have a good chance of rotations close to home in Idaho, possibly in Boise and Pocatello! Does it get any better than that!? And, the weather is just like Boise weather, maybe even a little warmer! That sure beats the heat of AZ and the winters in PA, so we'd be soo happy to go there! On top of all its other pluses, its the 3rd cheapest DO school!! Jake has a pretty good chance at getting in, so we're just praying for that interview! Of course, getting their secondary someday would be nice also... They are the only school to not have reviewed applications and sent out there supplementals, so thats frustrating because we DESPERATELY want to get that one completed! We are also waiting on our pre-med advisor to get Jake's committee letters sent off to the schools. For most, that is all they are waiting on to get his file complete and review it for a possible interview, but until those come in, we're still just waiting... I sure hope they get sent off/received soon!
As for the pregnancy.................(imagine this line going on for about 50 more rows.) Thats how it feels... Just waiting waiting waiting. I wish it would just get here already. To Jake it just seems like we're waiting around for nothing, so he keeps going on all these outdoor adventures that commonly take him out of cell range, so thats comforting! At my appointment on Monday we did get some news that at least SOMETHINGS going on. The doctor said I was super soft, but only effaced to about 50%. He said that I would be effaced and very dialated if only the babies head was down a little further. He told me that, once the contractions start pushing the baby down, I will efface and dilate really fast. He initially told me that I should wait until contractions were about 3-5 minutes apart. Then he corrected himself and said, "No, actually, for you, you had better call/go to the hospital when your contractions are regular between 5-10 minutes apart." I guess I'm going to go so much faster that I need to worry about it sooner. Thats ok with me, because who wants to wait for them to get any closer together? From what I remember last year and what I've been experiencing off and on recently, contractions aren't all that fun! :) Things are good though and I'm feeling excellent considering! I am due August 25th, which puts me at 39 weeks 1 day. My water broke with Hannah 3 days early, and I'm hoping the same thing happens with this baby, minus the HBP and magnesium. I would like to enjoy the meals provided by the hospital instead of just feeling like I'm going to throw up the whole time! :) And I hear they provide a great steak dinner to new parents here in Madison, so we're looking forward to that as well! :) Hope you're all doing well!
