Jake and Brother Boren going on their 4-wheeling trip to Antelope Creek above Idaho Falls this week. They had a good time, and Jake came home SO DIRTY!! It was another beautiful day for the outdoors! I'm glad Jake can get out and do his boy things so he can come home and relax with me, since thats all I seem to be doing these days! :)

Here are the pictures of Jake's latest project--a solar oven! This will come in soo handy if we ever have any problems in the future. You can cook bread, meat, anything you want. Sometimes these babies can get up to 400 degrees! Jake's was around 180 and he cooked the food for 3 hours. Its equivalent to a slow cooker, but it works great! Jake burned his finger at first because he didn't know how hot it would really get! I'm proud of you honey! I'll never have to worry if we haven't any kind of disaster--Jake's got our family prepared!

The dinner Jake make--Chicken and forzen veges! It was soo good!

Jake has been dreaming about a solar oven for awhile--even did a poster about it for physics. Well, after tons of research he found the style he wanted and made it come to life last Saturday! Boy was he proud! :)

Here's Hannah planning on following in her Dad's footsteps. Or at least her Aunt Carley's! :)

Hannah with her nebuelizer tube. She has been pretty coughy and weezy for awhile... At first she really hated this thing, but now she has fun playing with it and will wear it while we read her books and keep her entertained. What a cutie!

Grandma Packham came up to visit last weekend and Hannah had so much fun with her. Highlights of the weekend included going on walks, talking, making fair doughnuts and constructing a cloth diaper. We're pretty serious about finding the right material and pattern to make a ton of these--just haven't found the time and money to do it all yet. It will be quite the production when we all get together to make them though! Fun! Here's Hannah sporting the diaper, just on the wrong end of her body! :)

Hannah and Daddy on the hammock. Dumb squirrels have been nibbling at the ends of it though, so who knows how much long we'll have it in our backyard? :( Thats Jake's sanctuary--I don't know what he'll do without it!

Hannah testing out her swimming pool for the first time while grandma was visiting. It was alittle cold--took her awhile to get used to it.

Those little piggies of hers look pretty cute drenched, don't they?

Well, I am getting really fed up with this blogger stuff! I can't seem to move pictures around anymore and so everything is out of order... Oh well. Things are good--just 3 days from the due date I believe. Still really no signs of impending labor--other than he's lowered and I have a ton of pressure weighing me down. We've been walking every single day! Yesterday we went on a walk all around Rexburg for about 2h 45 m! Boy was I sore, as I am after most of the walks, but still no baby. Today we even tried the spicy food induction route with no success! (Of course, it was also a good excuse to go to Bajios! :) Today we are going on a tour of the new hospital and then heading out to Egin Lakes again to let Hannah play around in her new swimming suit! Katie is coming up today until next Tuesday, so how fun for us!! And we'll have a babysitter if baby Charley comes, unless of course she wants to be there for the birth...
OH--PS! Jake got his first interview offer from a med school yesterday. Its at Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, FL, so not our first choice, but we didn't want an interview to practice on! So for a total of $312 Jake will be flying down to FL on Sept. 9, sleep in his rental Impala and shower at the college, have his interview on the 10th, come back soon after and we'll spend the rest of the weekend in Bear Lake. We're reading up on interview tricks and praying everything goes well--it would be nice to have a garuanteed acceptance somewhere just in case the other schools fall through. We're really excited to see the application process going somewhere! Hope you're all doing well!
