Summer at Home!

 Boy, we really eat like kings at my house!  My dad served in Italy on his mission, so we are always eating some kind of fancy italian dishes and pasta creations!  My mom also has a cookbook FULL of wonderful family favorites that just keep us begging for more!  No wonder the kids eat here better than anywhere else!

Charlie has this fascination of chashing things around on the floor.  He army crawls over to it and seems to like pushing it away rather than grabbing it.  Maybe just because he enjoys the chase...  Either way I'm grateful for the exercise he gets.  He should be crawling soon.  (PS--the reason he isn't yet is because I've kept him off the floor/avoided trying to get him to sit up because he has always thrown up a ton!  Now that he's able to control hisself a little better, he's getting more floor time and catching on to things pretty quick!:)

Oh yes, and he's my little push-up baby.  Instead of trying to walk, he would prefer to just do pushups all day!  Its sure cute though...

I didn't know it, but Paris Elementary put up a new playgroudnd thing which Hannah just CAN'T get enough of!  Its only a block away and perfect to let Hannah run free while me and Jake just talk and play with Charlie.  We'll sure miss everything being so close to our house...   What a wonderful community we live in!  It has always been so much fun to go on walks around Paris and we'll miss Bear Lake soo much for this reason and SO MANY others!

Eating is always an adventure in our house.  Charlie will eat almost anything, except for tomatoes and hard-boiled eggs I just found out...  But Hannah refuses to eat almost anything now-a-days!!  Do any of you have the same problem with your 2 year olds?  Maybe its part of those terrible twos....  Either way, we always have a lot of coaxing and cleaning to do!

This is Hannah's favorite place to be outside!  These three railroad ties just call to her it seems, because she runs to them first thing and just sits quietly and almost comfortably it seems!  I love these kids! :)
