Some pictures of Jake's early graduation and birthday present. Jake graduates from BYU-Idaho on April 10th, 2010, which also happens to be his 25th b-day!I guess I should also tell how we surprised him with it... My parents were up visiting and we were playing some games. Beforehand I decided to tell everyone they would win prizes if they won a game. When Jake won Settlers of Catan, we presented him with his favorite candy bar, an almond/toffee Symphony bar, with the IPod wrapped in another Symphony wrapper underneath. When he discovered it he was WAY BEYOND surprised! He kept saying " oh..my..GOSH!" over and over again--it was great! My parents and I got it for him, so it was fun having them there for the surprise.
This IPod Touch is going to be super handy for him and is almost a requirement for any med student/doctor to have. Jake will have a bunch of medical terms and information at his fingertips, as well as the scriptures and all the church manuals for his bishopric responsibilities! (Not to mention a ton of other applications and fun games too!:)
Love you honey! Thanks for all your hard work and happy birthday!!
I babysit a little 2 1/2 year old girl named Brooklyn around 12-20 hours a week. Her mother is pregnant and working and her father is in school, so they line up their schedules and I cover the times they can't be with her. Her mother is due the beginning of March and will take her back once their new baby comes.
It has worked out perfectly and Hannah and Brooklyn have so much fun toghether, especially playing chase! It has helped changed Hannah's naptime around and get her really worn out for it! Its also fun seeing the year difference between the two girls, because that's how it will be with Hannah and Charlie.
She's such a fun girl and we're happy to have her around!
I don't have to do much explaining here. Hannah just loves her bag of macaroni noodles and would like nothing better to just drag it around all day! She's only broken through it once, thankfully! :)
What a cute little girl I have. She loves getting ready with mom! Too bad she always looks 10x better than me! Maybe I should try harder....:)Hannah will be 19 months tomorrow--can't believe how big she's getting! She does an awful lot of talking, although she doesn't use actual words. To see videos of that, you'll have to visit Facebook, because her little talks go on for to long to fit the time limit of Blogspot...:(
Her favorite words now are: 1, 2, 3 Lets Go!, Juice, Cheese, Ball, Boot, Snow Papa and Grandma/pa, and few more here and there. :) I'll update with pictures of more of her favorites soon, like sitting at the table and going outside--her two new FAVORITE things to do!
And lastly, my other little cutie Charlie! Currently he is about 5 1/2 months old now (5 1/4 when I made the page..) and he is doing a lot of cool things, developmentally that is!-Rolling ALL OVER the place
-Can almost hold his bottle
-Got two teeth the end of 3 months and is currently working on more
-Almost sitting up on his own
-Getting ready to work on crawling!
-Eating a bunch of cereal and even starting on his mashed up foods!
Charlie sure loves his dad and could just play rough with him all day long! He always laughs the best playing with Jake!
Jake and I are doing great too. Just this last weekend Carley took the kids home to Boise for Grandma White's b-day. We were kidless! It was soo crazy! Jake and I went down to IF to buy wood for our bedroom set project and the store were closed! Poor Jake:( So we ended up spending 4 hours in Home Fabrics looking for bedding stuff instead... It was fun, well, at least the first hour--then it got old REALLY fast! We did eat at Olive Garden later which was SOO GOOD, but I think we both got sick from it later...:( Then we went a baptism of a non-member in Jake's singles ward and painted together afterwards. It was a lot of nice time together.
On Sunday I even got to go to my married ward without kids! Is it me, or does not having kids make it easier to focus and feel the spirit in church? Boy, I heaven't learned so much at church for a long time!! It was a great weekend and we appreciate the family giving us a break. (Although I think it was more a b-day present for me than it was for my mother-in-law...)
We can't believe that we only have 2 more months, almost to the day, until we leave Rexburg. Life is moving so fast, but we're excited about the future. Hope you're all doing well!

Glad to hear you guys are doing well! Your kiddos are getting big and still as cute as could be!
Love seeing pic. We live two hours from yakima. Email me so we can talk. hawaiianednolb@yahoo.com
An Ipod Touch huh? That's nice! I kinda got a similar thing for Alex for the same reason. Med school stuff. He kept telling me how great it would be and how helpful. I acted like "yeah right" but gave it to him for Christmas. :) His is the new verizon "Droid". I don't know how different it is, but hopefully it works well for him.
Your photo collages are so much fun... how do you make them?
Your kids are growing up so fast! They are so cute! I'm glad you're teaching Hannah to use and eyelash curler now. She'll be a pro by the time she really gets to use it! Glad things are going well, and I'm glad you were able to surprise Jake with his present! Cute layouts, btw.
I love your scrapbook pages! And what cute pics of Charlie with Owen (although I'm a bit biased...) I'll have to get those from you sometime.
