Our busy weekend!

I always forget that these pages load smaller pictures, so I am trying to remind myself not to put in so many pictures with such little tiny font! But I found this new font and loved it so much I HAD to use it...:) For now, if you want to see the pictures well and actually read what I wrote, you'll have to click on the picture to see it full size. Sorry... I'll try to do better next time! :)
The beginning to our busy weekend included a night of human foosball with Jake's single's ward. It's a tradition every new semester of school and its pretty exciting, to say the least. There were quite a few great plays and plenty of little accidents here and there. If anyone lets go of the PBC tubing and uses their hands, they get ducktaped to it! And after a few rounds of just kicking around one huge ball, they throw in a second one to make things a little more interesting... :)

The most exciting part for me is trying to keep the kiddos protected! We always end up sitting on the stage and keeping our eyes peeled on the ball so it doesn't hit us by surprise. But doughnuts afterwards always makes up for it! We're going to miss being part of this ward! :(
Yeah, these are probably things he should have figured out awhile ago, but he's ahead of Hannah, so we consider that progress! :) He's probably going to figure out crawling any day because he's on his stomach so much!

And whenever I update on Charlie firsts, I'm also going to mention some of Hannah's new words, or words she's working on anyway.... Here are some of the new ones: light, movie, boot, pa pa (for grandpa), let's go, 1, 2, 3 and milk.

WEEKEND
We had a lot of different plans for this last weekend, but we ended up going to Boise because Heidi got her mission call and went through the temple! We also made it to our friend Ky's mission farewell talk in a stake conference, so we got a lot of things done while we were there. I wish I would have gotten more pictures of everything! We ate out a few times, played some games and saw the movie Did You Hear About the Morgans? Its a GREAT show and I recommend it to everyone! Here's a link to the trailor.

Here are the pictures from Heidi's mission call opening...
Heidi is sooo excited about her call, and also excited about the possibility of learning Spanish! She has wanted to learn it for a long time, so we're hoping she'll have the opportunity to serve in that capacity as well! She's preparing well and will be an awesome missionary!

Our friend Ky is also serving his mission in Lansing, MI and will be heading to the MTC on March 3rd! We really enjoyed hearing his testimony at stake conference and know that he will be a great missionary too! WE LOVE YOU TWO!! Good luck! :) Our plan initially was to go to Driggs and spend the weekend with our friends Mark and Stephanie Pruitt. Jake grew up with Mark in Oregon and they have stayed friends ever since. In fact, we lived with Mark's family for a few months after we were married while Jake worked in Oregon and it was great to get to know the family better!

Mark was married recently and we never got a chance to really meet his wife, so since they were going to be in Driggs we figured it was high time we did. So, we drove back from Boise Sunday after listening to Ky speak and headed to Driggs. We stayed with them Sunday night and left Monday afternoon. It was fun to play in the snow a little and just talk with Mark and Stephanie. Mark was also admitted to medical school this year and they will be heading to Kirskville, Missouri in August. Too bad we didn't want to go to the same schools, because that would have been TOO MUCH fun...:(

And since we didn't have 4-wheel drive we got stuck a few times on the way out... Thankfully these guys left the same time we did and were able to pull us out! We're suprised we made it up in the first place! It was an awesome lodge with 3 floors and a lot of open, fun space for a lot of people to be together. They were very hospitable and we had a great time!

Thankfully the kids have recovered well from the trip. Hannah screamed the whole way over, but they were pretty good for the 6 hours back. Charlie was like an angel the whole time! They have both taken really long naps and bedtimes without much complaining, so that makes the weekend a success. We were sad to miss out on my mom's b-day weekend with the family, but there were just too many things to get done in Boise.... It saved us an extra two busy Boise weekend trips, so it worked pretty good I guess! HAPPY B-DAY to MOM!! We love you and plan on coming down soon!

Hope you all had a great President's Day weekend too! :)

Oh so these must be the friends that are going to missouri? They look like a fun bunch. :) If we end up going there we will look forward to meeting them. Alex has put down a deposit in Missouri to save his spot, but staying in Utah will save us much tuition costs. :)

Someone deleted several links from megashares and easy-share servers.

From now, we will use www.tinyurlalternative.com as our main url shortener, so every link will be there and visible for everyone.

You can choose from several great short url address like:

kfc.ms easysharelink.info jumpme.info megauploadlink.info megavideolink.info mygamelink.info myrapidsharelink.info mytorrentlink.info myurlshortener.com mywarezlink.info urlredirect.info urlshrinker.info weblinkshortener.com youtubelink.info and many others.

They maintain above 60 different ready domains and the url shortener service work well for free without any registration needed.

So we think it is good idea and suggest you to use url redirect service too!

Thank you.
