Thanksgiving!

Well, we had a very enjoyable week in Boise for Thanksgiving--we only wish it would have lasted a little longer! We went to Boise on Friday and then returned home the following Saturday before school started back up again. Jake did a lot of outdoor things: hunting, shooting and motorcycle riding, and loved every minute of it. I'm really glad he got some time away from all these science books. We visited with a lot of friends from Jake's High School days and really had a great time doing that--(PS thanks for the great party Tiffany and Valerie! It was great and we had a good time, and thats coming from someone who normally doesn't like get-togethers! You guys are pros!:) Glendi and I did a little shopping here and there, and me and my sister-in-laws even got a chick flick night in, complete with Chex Mix! We also got to see a lot of Jakes family! Both sets of Grandparents came along with an uncle and Great Aunt Joyce! We really enjoyed have them all there.

I'm sorry to say though that I'm not much of a picture fanatic (as evidenced by the following pictures of me...:)so all I really have to show you are the family pictures we took. I wish I could put comments under them, but I haven't figured out yet how to change my pictures back to actual pictures vs. the picture info that shows in my posting--anyone know how to change that back? Anyway, I love you all and enjoy the pictures. I hope you all had a wonderful break and realize how truely blessed we all are!

Oh, and for those of you who didn't know, we lost our great FREE housing situation across from campus and just barely found a new place yesterday. We are still close to campus, so thats nice, but having to move again just wasn't in our Holiday plans. (Niether was jury duty!!) We are excited about our new place though and I'm thrilled about the 6 feet of counter space! It sure beats the 1' I had before! Jakes excited to have his semester over and we are looking forward to starting a new year! Happy Holidays to everyone!
