Here are some pictures of our situation this summer. We are here in Middleton with Jake's family while Jake completes his internship as an aid for a physical therapist in Meridian. We have really enjoyed being with Jake's family and are really grateful for all they have done to help us this summer. Its great being surrounded by family--I have great in-laws!
This is Jake's house. We live in the garage, or "barn" off to the left. They have a little apartment up there that has been perfect for us! Its nice having a place to ourselves, but being right next to a fun family!
This is the front porch where most of our little family gatherings take place. I love porches, and I LOVE BOISE WEATHER! Of course, the weather recently everywhere has been pretty nasty, but with this belly and swollen ankles, it has actually been perfect! Its so much fun to sit outside on the porch, talk to family and friends, and enjoy the weather. And Jake also brings out a few otter pops, so that makes it even better! And whats more, their neighbors have a pool that they offered to the big pregnant lady to make the heat a little more tolerable! I'm so excited! Watch out for my tan! :)
This is Vic Lane. Of course, this is only a little portion of it, but it works. Jake and I take walks down this road pretty often, although it should happen every night now--get prepared for labor! :) It is such a peaceful lane and it will be perfect to push the ol' stroller on once the baby comes!
Ya, just what I thought! This baby is huge! This is the moose my father-in-law killed last year that is still feeding the family. They are going to mount his head up at the cabin in Round Valley, but until then, he will adorn the space above the piano. I have to admit--I kinda get nervous playing the piano anymore for fear that I might play too rough and end up getting smashed! (Candice, remind you of a certian Rootbeer Rag incident?) Wish me luck in my practice!
Jake wanted me to post his picture for a lady he works with. Jake got into making stained glass in high school and made all these fancy things for his sisters and girlfriends, but I have yet to see anything for me! :) He actually has some ideas for our future house--how cool would that be? Little entry way with Jake's personal touch! He is a pretty talented kid in so many ways!
