That's right, Charlie is now almost 3 months old! Where has the time gone!!? It has been really fun, and actually pretty easy, but one day about a month ago Charlie suddenly woke up from his newborn slumber and has been keeping me extra busy ever since, with the help of his cohort Hannah. :) Hannah is now a busy 16 months old and getting so much older every day it seems! She really keeps me on my toes and is telling me "NO!" all the time. Boy, what does the future hold for me? :( I'm actually pretty impressed at how obedient this wild spirit can be most of the time, but she sure can be a sas when she wants to be! :)
Charlie has been having a hard time keeping his formula down, which has meant a lot of costume changes for him and the parents... Boy, Hannah didn't spit at all--I WAS NOT prepared for Charlie fountain! Thankfully we've got some better formula that has helped a little, but he is still hard to keep clean and full. We're working on the prevacid for acid reflux but nothing is fixing everything completely. I guess I'm just in denial that he might just be a messy baby...:)
Jake and I are doing really well. Jake is being such a stud and getting excellent grades in all of his senior bio classes that he was really nervous about. Maybe its the subconcious knowledge that made it into med school that give him confidence that he can do it! :) He is going to be in the Heber J. Grant program next semester serving as the coordinator for a new program they've started. This should pay for Jake's tuition next semester, so it's a great blessing for us--plus, Jake just loves the work helping others! :)
For those of you moms out there, you know what I'm doing, so I'll save you all the messy details... Things are good but I do wish I could get out more... Lately it seems like Charlie just needs attention ALL THE TIME while Hannah is crying on my leg wanting attention also. I hope this pattern doesn't continue will just get worse as they get older...:( I wish Charlie was old enough to play with Hannah already, but I will enjoy this stage while I can I guess. Lately I've been feeling pretty weird--I can't seem to get to bed before almost 2am because I can't turn my mind off! AND and I can't seem to eat anything but fruit and my stomach is upset all the time!! I hate it! What do I do!?! And don't say I'm pregnant cause I tested for that already and nothing!! (Of course, I took two pregnancy tests with Charlie before 2 months and they were negative, so I just don't know what to trust anymore...:) Other than those things though, life is good and I'm happy to be the mom of two ADORABLE kids and the wife of a handsome, smarty-pants husband!! Hope you're all doing well too! :)
Here are some pictures for you...:)

I really need to come up and see you! You kids are adorable and I would just love to hug and hold that little baby of yours. Congrats on Pacific! I'm bummed that we won't be neighbors. Maybe in residency, right? But with 2 little babies you're gonna need family as close as you can get 'em. Love you!
Laura! I'm so glad you posted! I've been waiting for it.
Your little kiddos are so cute! I'm sorry that Charlie is having such a hard time with his acid reflux. :( I hope he grows out of the "I need attention" stage soon! I know that everyone has probably told you, but it will pass eventually.
What are your plans for Thanksgiving? You gonna be in Paris? If so, we should get together and go to the craft fair for fun.
And, I with our D.I. was as good as yours. Those are some SWEET steals!! Isn't it kind of fun to get great deals like that?!? It's kind of like a game. I'm a coupon clipper and I always come back from the grocery store saying, "Shaun, guess how much I saved this time?"
Anyway, hope to see you over the holiday. Take care!!
I love those pictures, Laura! The one with Hannah holding the pen is SO STINKING CUTE. haha. I love it!
