Did he play sports?: He was on the swim team in Middle school and ran Cross Country in high school. He was more involved in leadership in HS.
What's his favorite candy?: Most anything chocolate. Those box brownies would be at the top of his list with Otter Pops following a close second. (Poor teeth!)
Who said I love you first: Jake did, right by a garbage dumpster! How romantic! :)
Who can sing better: We both sing about the same. Jake was in audition choirs in HS and knows how to sing really well! Lucky me!

What music does he listen to?: As long as he is listening to music he is happy. He really doesn't like rap and the hard stuff at all.
Who is smarter: Jake is for sure smarter than me. Its so nice being married to a smart kid, because I can ask him about anything and he has an accurate answer for me. He really likes to be informed.
Who does the laundry: I do most of the laundry, but he helps me whenever he has time. I have more time so it just works out.
Who dirties more laundry?: Jake does. I had no idea boys went through so many clothes!!
Who does the dishes: Again, I have more time, so I do them. He is really helpful with all the household duties though.
Who pays the bills: Whoever earns the money...:) Now Jake does.
What does he enjoy doing?: Definitely reading—I've got another Mrs. Pedersen on my hands! He also loves doing anything outdoors, learning about anything done in the olden days—making his own cheese, etc...
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: Jake does most of the time. It changes.
Besides you, who is his best friend: He has a lot of best friends. It would probably have to be either his friend Tyler or Nate up in Boise.
Who cooks dinner: We both do! Jake is an excellent cook and he probably cooks more than me!
Who is more stubborn: We are both stubborn in our own ways. No room to go into details...:)
Who kissed who first: Jake kissed me first, the night we got engaged. I married such a good boy!
Who asked who out first: Well, thats a long story. Lets just say his dad set up the first date, and he asked me out after that.
What is his favorite animal?: Dogs, small ones. LOL, thats a joke. He really likes bigger dogs that stay outside.
Who has more siblings: We both are from families with 4 kids. Jake has 2 sisters and 1 brother, and I have 3 sisters.
Who wears the pants: I think we both have a pretty good say in what goes on in our marriage.
What is your favorite thing about him: Jake is a really determined guy, and when he knows what he wants he goes out and gets it. He knows how to work hard and get things done.
How long have you been married?: Since April 7th, 2007-- so a year and a month.
How long did you date?: 7 months
Who eats more? Well, we're about equal now that I'm pregnant! :) Jake normally eats more though.
Who is taller: Jake is about 3-4 inches taller than me.
Who drives when you are together?: Jake drives almost all of the time—that is, unless he is tired or wants to read. Then its my turn.
How did you meet?: Well, this is the same long story I didn't tell earlier. I went home to work at the state park over Labor Day before the Fall 2006 semester started at BYU-I. Jake's family was visiting Bear Lake and just happened to come to church at the tabernacle that Sunday. Jake's dad sat right by me and set up a date with his son, and I met Jake later and he got my number. I met his whole extended family before I met Jake!! We went to the first devotional and were together every day since then. I even went home with him that first weekend—ya, crazy! Thats the short version of the story.
Who proposed?: Well, I brought up the conversation that helped us make the decision—Jake did the actual proposing. :)
Who has more friends?: We're about the same, but Jake is probably a better friend who actually keeps in contact and spends time with them more. Of course, thats hard when we're here in his hometown—none of my friends are really around.
What are his nicknames?: Well, I don't really know. His family calls him a lot of different names, but I can't come up with anything other than Jake. I really love his name though, so its perfect.

I love that picture! Laura, the more I think about it, the more I realize that we did marry each other. I still think it's so true!
